Old Chapel, Bandon, Co. Cork.
The Irish Veteran and Vintage Car Club categorizes vehicles as follows:
Since our establishment in 2006, we have restored a number of vehicles which fall into the vintage and post vintage categories, including a 1934 Standard 10, a 1934 Humber Snipe Sports Tourer and at present we are restoring a Rolls Royce 20/25.
When working on a vintage car, we ensure that any work we do is sympathetic to the age and history of the vehicle. We draw on the knowledge of our contacts in specialist registers and clubs to ensure we use the correct materials, the best available components and appropiate colour schemes. If an item needs to be replaced, we use specialist vintage suppliers.
We have the skills and equipment in house to fabricate replacement body parts in the traditonal manner. Our English Wheel was originally used to make Spitfire wings. We also have the skills to repair and manufacture ash frames.

If you have a project you would like to discuss please give Bob Heaton a call on 087 677 4202. For a specific repair or small service work we can give you a guide to the cost over the phone. If you decide to proceed, before we commence work, we will inspect the vehicle and give a more accurate estimate of the final cost.
For larger restoration projects, we always carry out an inspection of the vehicle and give a written project proposal and estimate. If a customer decides to proceed with the project, we provide regular written reports and a digital photographic record of the work.
If you would like any further information or you have a project you would like to discuss please call Bob Heaton on 087 677 4202 or email us.
