Old Chapel, Bandon, Co. Cork.
In October 2006, we began the restoration of this 1934 Standard 10, which had been in the owner's family from new and was of great sentimental value.
The car had been stored for many years and was in a very poor state. The body work was badly rusted and the engine hadn't been running for many years. Many parts such as the radiator cap were missing or broken. The interior of the car was also in a poor state. The car was sagging badly towards the drivers side, which we later discovered was a major problem with the suspension.

Here is the finished car, painted in it's original dark blue and black colour scheme. Mechanically the car was completely overhauled and the interior was fully re-trimmmed.
The restoration took us well over a year to complete and gave me many sleepless nights but we are very proud of the finished car.
